Cammie Terry, LPC, NCC, ADHD-CCSP
Practice Owner
Hi, I’m Cammie—a licensed therapist and the founder of Authentic Connections Counseling.
My approach to therapy is rooted in three guiding values: context, choice, and connection. I believe that healing begins when we understand the why behind our struggles, feel empowered to make our own decisions, and experience safe, supportive relationships where we can show up as our full selves.
In our work together, I’ll help you make sense of your experiences (past and present), support you in building tools that work for you, and offer a compassionate space where growth feels possible—not pressured.
I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and shame. I often integrate somatic approaches to help regulate the nervous system and reconnect with the body’s natural wisdom—because healing doesn’t just happen through talking. It happens through feeling safe, seen, and supported in your nervous system too.
Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for something to shift, I’m here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and a deep respect for your story.
With a deep love for animals, music, and nature, Cammie believes in the power of connection and self-expression in healing. She is dedicated to bridging the mental health gap and empowering youth to embrace their authenticity, find their place in the world, and live a life aligned with their true desires.
In addition to her role as practice owner and therapist, Cammie is a Certified Reiki II Practitioner. She also serves as a Teen Mental Wellness Facilitator with the Ryan Bartel Foundation.
