The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is a polyvagal-informed, evidence-based listening program designed to help calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety and overwhelm, and increase your capacity for focus, rest, and connection. At Authentic Connections Counseling, we offer SSP as a structured program to support teens and adults struggling with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and sensory sensitivities.

How it Works
Intake & Mapping: We’ll review your history, goals, and regulation patterns to create a pacing plan.
Listening Phase: You’ll listen to specially filtered music through the SSP app in short, safe doses.
Guided Check-Ins: Brief sessions to track progress, adjust pacing, and integrate regulation tools.
Integration: Learn how to bring your gains into daily life (sleep, boundaries, focus, relationships).
Typical timeline: 10-15 weeks, flexible to your needs.
Program Options
HSA/FSA cards accepted. SSP is considered a wellness intervention and is not eligible for insurance or superbills.
Self-Paced Access – $500
1-year SSP app access + one 20-minute orientation video + one 15-minute check-in.

90-min intake, 1-year access, 3 x 30-min check-ins, digital tools kit.

Premium Support – $1,200

No — SSP is a structured therapeutic protocol designed to support your nervous system. It can complement talk therapy but is not a substitute for ongoing psychotherapy.

SSP is currently facilitated by Cammie Terry, LPC, NCC, ADHD-CCSP, who is trained and certified in delivering SSP. As our practice grows, additional clinicians may be trained under Cammie’s supervision.
